Life
It's been a while since I've simply updated on life - how things are going and what we've been up to outside of hiking and camping and roadtripping.
Here's that update through iPhone pictures:
Erika was in town (or, close enough to it) so we all went to visit with her! This means I've gotten to see this beautiful lady TWICE in a year which hasn't happened since 2013. I love her and cherish the times we get to spend together.
We got back from California and it promptly snowed like 20". There was a blizzard and my work was cancelled (that was the first time in 3 years that it closed). It was incredible.
Korean barbecue before A Midsummer Night's Dream with friends from school. AKA the BEST food I've had in a LONG time.
Logan and I have season tickets to the Rapids this year and it's been so much fun not only getting to see these huge stars (Michael Bradley and Kyle Beckerman and Clint Dempsey - though he didn't play) but we're actually a good team this season so I get to watch my team beat these guys! It's so much fun!
We got a super cute turtle named Percy and we love her very much!
We've spent a lot of time hammocking because the weather is finally reliably warm
So we're not only seeing the big stars, we're meeting them too! Gashi!
Spring has been breakneck - it goes from hot to snowing in a day.
We spent a cloudy morning at the Denver Botanic Gardens (or, the Bronco's Forest Garden as Logan likes to call it) and I was able to temporarily fill my need for flowers.
We saw Ben Folds on Monday and he was incredible, and absolute joy to watch.
AND, my Geeks Who Drink team won trivia this past Tuesday! I think it's because we're pretty smart, but it did help that four of us are in library school and there was a question dedicated to children's authors.
